Yanmar used to make a small (27hp i think) outboard, and there is a Company out of Sweden that just came out with a 200HP one OXE Diesel is the name of the company. Don't know of any others or have any experience with either.

Six years later the prototype is on the back of my 26ft deck boat and we use it almost every weekend as a river runner.

It is my own design, I had thoughts of bringing it to production but it was too costly for a private company to invest in tooling, building, ect, so we decided to close the company. The specs are as follows: 230hp, 4000 RPM, around 850lbs. (Could be 300hp and 4500 RPM with a computer change)
