Default Boat Karma

Go to post 149 I truly hate people getting screwed in the boat industry. But I felt I got a raw deal with the sale of my boat a few years back. Looks like Karma to me.

His response to someone's post

When someone makes you an offer you expect them to do what they say they will do, if that is Naive then you are correct I am Mr. Naive.

My post:
I was reading some posts and I come across the name Clayton Sampson (outerlimits 46). I'm like I know that name. So I do an email search. Yep. If you remember Clayton you wanted to buy my boat. We emailed back-and-forth for months with a signed contract and talked over the entire time also. Eventually you never closed the deal. Between you and two other tire kickers I said screw it. So that's when I dropped the price of my 46 cigarette 10,000 a week until it sold. Then I read this post that you feel people should do what they say. Karma is a *****.

THat was good karma for you.... Imagine the repercussions if he had bought your boat. God forbid the anchor line measured 99'6" instead of the claimed 100', he would have been screaming miss representation.

Thinking of the old adage, "there is no honor among thieves". One shady guy gets beat by another shady guy and he doesnt like it because he is used to being the taker, not the takee?

I am told that in Calif where Clayton lives he hustles people on a regular basis. He lives very close to a close friend of mine and I have been told lots of stories. From his house to his car to his automotive business. He is one big hustle. My friend says most marine shops out there will not work on his boat for fear of not getting paid. Thats why he sent the drives back east. The best drive guy out there West Coast Drives refused to touch them.
