I can't tell! but not the same deck IMO ! I look at both and feel a cafe has a more ''modern ''look, seems like cockpit is smaller towards the back of the boat while the mistress seem to have the windshield too far up the front!

but that's just my opinion from pictures...

Same bottom, their were a few cafe's that did get a notched transom, but I think it was less then 5. Deck is obviously different.

Almost forgot about those, but it was an after thought, a block put into the mold, and it didn't work out too well

Rat man.....the 35 started off with the Mistress deck and then later Don raised it up above thw rubrail a few inches to give more cabin room and called that model the Awesome. Years later after the company had been sold a few times, one of the new owners decided to modernize the boat with the new deck...Cafe Racer was born.

Theough all of this, including the 35 race boats of the 70's and 80's shared the same hull.

Even that monster 35 that you and I took on the Gulf with many years ago....had the same hull.

Now the next question, how did that rocker work on the bottom of the 35?

That was Craig Barrie doing.

Damn sexy boat. All the new designs under Craig's tenure weren't grand slams though. I won't name names. And of course it's just opinion...though the market seems to agree with me.
