I was interested in a boat for sale and the seller says the transaction has to go through nurvilsquareconsignment.com. Something seems off but the website looks too sophisticated for the average scammer. Anybody ever deal through them?

Is the price almost too good to be true?
There was a boat I was looking at last year and it was cheap, and it was being "sold" through a place just like that with a different name, but all else was the same and it was a scam. The website was similar where you had to sign up for free, etc. Hell, I even went through the deal enough to find out the bank that they were supposedly using and the bank was legit on google maps.
Good luck

Pretty detailed website but I didn't see a good explanation on how they earn their 10% commission for selling your item on Ebay. I could see value if they provided expanded exposure through a variety of media/audiences but I'm not getting it.

I would stay away as well, tell the seller either its you and him or you're out.
After I figured out it was a scam deal, someone found my thread on another forum asking about the company, signed up to the site just to say that it was a scam and they got him for the deposit that they required to get the shipping deal started. I checked the website again and it was gone, lol.
