Have a brand new Fortress FX-16 in the box with the storage bag if anyone is needing a new anchor. Ordered a box anchor instead.

They are great anchors, I have one myself. I loved my box anchor when I had my Velocity. But since I have a place to store a fortress (my CC has a locker) I prefer the lighter Fortress over the Box Anchor..

Unless you have already tried the box anchor I'd suggest hanging on to the Fortress until your happy with the box. I would think the large box will struggle with your 35' depending on bottom type.

He boats mainly in sandy/muddy bottoms for what it's worth.
