Back in the day -- I remember a friend of a neighbor up at our cottage had a StarCraft boat with what I believe was a 70hp Mercury I/O. The thing that impressed the heck out of me (I was probably 14 at the time) was how quiet the engine was at idle. I though geeze 70hp man that is so much horse power. Boy have times changed
