ok took the motor out of my 25 last moth, as im putting it back in i knotice a wire?

ok took the motor out of my 25 last month, as im putting it back in i knotice a wire? its the green wire in the same loom that has the short black ground the gos from the starboard side of the engine to the transom! how ever its just laying there and i didnt unhook it. its screewed to the transom and routes down towards the drain hole? and ideas? oh and just to make sure im right the spacer gos here correct?

I think that spacer goes on top of the coupler after the motor is in. A spring washer goes where you have the spacer. Should be washer on top of that spacer, then the coupler, then the spring washer. I don't know about the green wire.

Believe it or not, my drain plugs were loose. When I reset them, they had a thru bolted screw/nut. I located a diagram and it was for the bonding wires. Yes, they even bond the drain plugs on boats to prevent galvanic action. Needless to say, I didn't hook them back up. I would have had to pull the motors...which is obviously out of the question. If I remember, the diagram on the 30 listed the bonding wires green. Hope this helps.
