Where do I get Closed Cell Foam?
#1
I'm getting ready for Duck season and found a couple of leaks in the "Camo Toon" so I plan on fixing them adding a couple more braces and replacing the waterlogged foam that is in the inside with "Closed Cell Foam" that way if any more water ever get's in there the foam won't soak it up.
I think it comes in two liquid part's that you mix together then let it set up and expand?
Where could I find some?

Do I go to their web site and buy it there? Or what kind of a supply house do I need to go to to ask for it? Keep in mind I in Kansas and the nearest boat builder is 3 Hours away! (Cobalt in Neodasha, KS)

Umm...I'm not sure, but I believe that foam is actually open cell. I believe the hard outer skin is water impervious, but when damaged the foam will soak up water.

Any Boat shop should have Two Part Pour able Urethane Foam, if that is what you want! And sell you a small quantity.1:1 ratio no problemo.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Closed cell Structural Foams a very much different animal here! Can be had from many vendors such as Composites 1 and Ashland Chemical.
Each varies in cost and physicals all the way up to the high end --> Which would be “Core-Cell” or the Swiss made “Airex”. For Ultra High Performance Boatbuilding! So chose your flavor.
They come as Sheet goods Easley worked with Carpenter tools.
