Default 850 SCI or Whipple a 525 EFI?

I have a 2008 29' Fever. Looking for more HP. If money were not a issue, would you drop in 850 SCI or Whipple my 525? Both motors have less than 50 hours. I want to stay with a reliable and basically maintenance free setup as possible I do understand with the 850 I need to replace my XR.

the whipple kit will net you 750+ hp.im not sure if the sc850 is actuially 850 hp but best bang for the buck would be the whipple imo.

You need a new drive with either package.

Whipple the 525 or you will need a complete rerig. Will get very expensive very quickly. Transom, 6 drives, headers and tails dry sump tank, rebuild them every 125 hrs, valve lash and adjustments. The 525 should have head gaskets and upper end done while your at it.

As said, your going to need a new drive either way. The whipple will bolt right on as well as a scx drive. That's the thing that holds me back as well, buying whipples and new drives at the same time.

Cam, head gaskets, and 4.0 liter whipple on the 525. Have Bmax go through the drive or get a Bmax.
