I have a pair of 2001 ProMax 300Xs that are pushing unburned oil out of the exhaust. Other than that they run well.
If anyone knows of a good mechanic near Joliet or Morris Illinois it would be appreciated.

Possible bad check valve. I would change it regardless. They can become a problem overtime especially if the engine sits for long periods time.
If you post ALL indepth detailed info about the problems and whats it doing along with correct engine serial # s and model numbers, I can post this on our marine technicians forums to see what comes up and experiences with this issue per your year & model. But really try changing the check valve. I think they around 40 to 75 bucks retail depending which one it is.

1. Make sure its not fuel that you are seeing. If in fact is oil from the oil injection the check valve part # is 21-8781051
Also it looks like your engine serial #'s falls under a Promax 300 X not an XS just saying, Hopefully no one BS you about them, I would double check on your end to verify 100% if this the case. Also I am NOT SURE if you met 300X's meaning 2 engines not the XS model. Anyways giving you heads up just in case.
The Promax 300XS are 3.2L DFI engines - Starting with serial # 1E001867 not even close to what you posted.
I tried to get the BAM parts link to pull up but it will not show it.
