Hopefully some of this rain clears out. Raining right now. Was out yesterday and the main channel is reasonably clean, not too much debris. The gully washing down pour we had yesterday around noon doesn't help though.

Seems like the weather is being uncooperative for next week but likely to change between now and then.

We will be there till Monday morning maybe we do a OSO raft up in cove someplace? There is a cove by the rt.54 bridge and it's right on one of the holes of a golf course I will only know it by getting down in the area. We are open for any location we can go with the flow!

Funny story- one year we were in there and big Formula cruiser pulled in with younger kids (over 18) we were watching the golfers come and go and floating off the back of the boat and I see a water balloon land on the course I look over and the kids have a slingshot and are launching water balloons at first no biggie but once they got the range they were landing close and golfers were pissed..... As soon as I saw "angry golfers" I jumped back in the boat and started getting ready to move the wife was like why move? Now I'm not a golfer but if I was I would have took some balls and tee's to edge of the shore and returned fire! So we moved about 400 yds. off the shore of that hole just in case a golfer decided to retaliate! About the time we re-anchored 2 more boats another performance boat and cruiser moved out to our location. Now I know it's not right but from our safer location I was laughing and cheering those kids on!!!

I doubt many people will be floating in the water this weekend. Water surface temp was 69 yesterday, and it certainly won't be warming up the next 3 days. First Memorial Day weekend in years we haven't been floating off the dock drinking beer. Weather man is not cooperating for the weekend either, which means the mall will be packed.

Hmm last Sat. I dropped in on Michigan..... surface temp was oh a balmy 50 deg. I'll happily take 69 deg not that I'm in a rush to jump in but it was 81 on Sat when we dropped it in but not out on lake.

It was a balmy high of 52 yesterday and rained all day. Miserable. Sun is back out today, although current temp is only 55. Warm up tomorrow, just in time.
