Add more pigment with duratec additive? Dave?

no I dont add extra pigment when using Duratec. Actually I use Duratec/gel for only a final coat. I do my color coverage with straight gel with no wax (use pva to cure) sand down to 220 or so then get you final gloss with the gel/Duratec mixed at 1:1. You only need a couple coats because you've already got color coverage. It will spray like a thick automotive single stage and sand/buff with ease.

I have already ordered wax, will I be OK using that for the first coat? Or if I have it faired out well should I just use the Duratec? Can you recoat with duratec? I am going to fill the cracks on that STV transom and gel over them.

yeah you will be fine with waxed i have gone back to PVA on gel for cure out, but either way is fine. Yes you can re coat them. Thats how i found it best, do the majority of it in raw gel let that cure and sand it down then come back with a couple quick coats for gloss and final finish. DT sprays well enough that its just a scuff and buff at that point.
