I have a 2004 h2x. With a 496. I see on the net some people are calling their h2x a (boss) h2x. Does some one want to tell me the difference. Or the packages that were available with the h2x. I feel out of the loop and I hate not knowing the differences between models of the same boat. Any help would be great. Thanks guys.

It's just an appearance package. Some different graphics, nicer looking gauges.

Like Z71 badges on a Chevy, just a reason to add cost.

Does it have a big sticker on the side just in front of the windscreen that says BOSS? Mine did.

VIN could probably tell you, but I don't know how.

No mine doesn't have that. It only says h2x. It has livorsi gauges and throttle. Clarion deck with sat radio. No trim tabs tho ??? Or is that a common thing for a boat of its size.

My 2000 non-boss H2X had factory trim tabs. Likely no help to you...sorry.

Winiger is correct, just stickers and bezels/factory bling. But I never saw an equipment/option list that EVERY boss boat is equipped with. Really hard to quantify kinda like the SST sticker on the outlaw. The HID won't tell you if it's a Boss or not. But if your boat doesn't have the sticker or a shadow where it's been removed then it's not a Boss, again no big deal or hit in value with or without. You can bling it out yourself.
