Has anybody tried these, and what did you think? How far below water line are you guys mounting your underwater lights?

Been happy with mine, here are three Seablaze 3 lights. The outside two are wired on a separate circuit from the center, so can toggle different color combinations.

I just installed three Seablaze X Lumitecs on our cruiser, and would suggest that they are worth the extra money. More functions and they do seem brighter.

Eight to ten inches below the water line works good for our waters. If transom has much angle to it (so lights will be shining down into water) don't install much deeper than ten inches below waterline.
