Default Replacement 5.7 350 engine

Who has a good line of replacement engines? 2001 model year, one piece rear seal and 8 bolt intake. Can be new or reman. Looking for the best pricing and no hassle shipping. I would also consider a good used takeout if you know someone that might have one. Thanks

This is for a family member's boat and I need to try and get it done quick and cheap

Try 1800Runsnew. I've bought several small blocks and V6's from them over the years and haven't had any issues. I don't do much, if any, of that anymore, but I wouldn't hesitate to use them if I needed one. Some guys have had some issues with the larger engines, but I've had great luck with the smaller ones, like what you need.

I can get you a longblock new or reman - shortblock or longblock or extended longblock or a complete drop in. When you say best price what is your budget here for this. Just want to make we are not wasting eachothers time. Saying this straight up not being a wise guy about it. HP ranges 250 to 350 depending on the price tag.

I had customers with BIG BLOCKS from 1800runsnew and they did have some problems. Nor they stood behind them after the fact for that end user. I personally have no experience buying from them of anything so I can comment directly comment.

Being you are in Indiana, there should be someone close by offering Jasper rebuilt marine engines.

Jasper would be driving distance from Evansville. Wish I still had the 350 mag that my boat came with, I would set you up! Of course, I sold that one at least 15 years ago.

And if I was to guess, it would be that someone either forgot to winterize in time, or tried to save some money and decided to do it themselves. (Not you I am talking about. ) My BOL did the same thing to his runabout years ago. Found out he had a cappucino machine a coupld weeks before the lake trip.

I buy stuff from Jasper Engines all the time. It never entered my pea brain to give them a call. BUP, I just need a standard 260hp long block if you would like to price me one. Not really a budget, just don't want to spend any more of their money than necessary. Looks like the going rate is between $2200 and $2800. This one is knocking pretty hard and by the time I fixed it, I think I would have more than that in it. Thanks for the replies
