Default speemaster/imco sc lowers water pickup

Hey guys was wondering if the lower water pickups on these are sufficient to cool 800 hp? Is anyone running a tube style water pickup with these. Was thinking about upgrading water pump to increase my water pressure and flow.

Thanks

Many people make too much water pressure with Imco SC's with LWP and end up installing dumps. I had that problem on a 825 HP 35 Top Gun.

I am borderline right now dropping to 6lb which triggers my warning indicator light, was thinking of upgrading water pump to keep things moving or to look at pickups. Just trying to get a feel before forking out them money.

Thank Chewymalone.
