Hi! I bought me a new boat last year....
I have 2x496 MAG from 2003 and one of them used to be an inboard Engine. I have them now with Bravo One.
The problem is (only the inboard Engine) that the rev limit is 3500 rpm and i dont find any limit switch? Is the switch connected to the PCM box!?
I tryed to find a wiring diagram for the PCM box without result....does any one have an idea what can be the problem!??
BR, Lars

If you are using the PCM 555 that was on the inboard engine to pair it to a Bravo then that is your problem
The PCM 555 for Bravo is a totally different tune than the PCM 555 for the inboard.
So are you using the inboard PCM for your Bravo app ?

The rev limit is programed in the PCM you can not jack with the wires or switches (none anyways for rev control) and connections to the PCM and switch any wires around. If you do say good bye to your PCM. Just saying

That is your problem using a inboard PCM for an outdrive app. See about 1 per year of the same issues. somewhat common today with boaters buying stuff off the net and do not have resources for tech support. Just saying.
