Default New to me 290SC

We finally did it. Sold the fishing boat and purchased our first performance boat. She's a 2006 290SC with 496 mag HO.
A big thanks to Kenny at LTB Performance for making it happen.

Did you buy the purple and green striped one? Kenny has been keeping me posted. Congrats on the new boat!

Congrats! Good looking boat you have. I checked it out with Kenny last April when I bought mine. They are great boats, I love mine.

Thanks all. I have to say the 2 times I've had it out were a blast that is until I got back to the ramp yesterday. Somehow the lower shift cable broke. New cable is on order and I found the 2 tools I need in my bag of tricks from a previous less stressful life. LOL

Not sure if you broke the inner metal cable insert or the whole cable including the outside plastic jacket? If you just broke the metal insert (i.e. like the fitting on the end of the metal cable) and the outside jacket is in good shape, you can save a bunch of time and and effort by just sliding the new insert into the old jacket. You won't need your special tools!

Cool

Congrats! I've had my 290SC for five years and still love it. It is a very versatile performance boat!
