Anybody have any background or history??? I was told that Mach 1 was bought out and the new name of the boat is illusion but the same layup as a Mach 1. I have never heard of this boat and any information would be great.

Envision boats was started by a former owner of Mach 1. The 32' model was called the Illusion. Is that what we're talking about here?

I believe The Mach 1's became Baha Cruisers.
The Envisions looked exactly like a Sea Ray Pachanga.

True. The 32' Envision was basically a splash of the Pachanga hull, with strake tweaks. Envision was able to get a bunch of Pachanga windshields on the cheap when the Pachanga was discontinued, so they decided to incorporate them into the deck design.

Felt/freedom manufactured Mach 1 in Monmouth IL. BAHA bought Mach 1. Envision then manufactured their boats from the same factory after tweaking the pachanga molds. At least that's the story I was given by the VP of Envision years ago when they were working on my Mach 1. Not bad boats IMO, we've had a few in the family over the years
