Default what is the best prop for a 35 fountain with 525's

I just bought a 2005 35 fountain with side by side 525's and ws wondering what is the best prop setups. I was thinking maximus or p5x. It has 31 pitch custom labbed bravo ones made from 30 pitch castings with a 1" drive spacer. I was thinking of removing the spacer and going to a 5 blade prop.
Thanks
John

I am running 5 blades on my 32 with -2 drives. They perform awesome. I am running labbed maximus which are a good match, fountains seem to like 4-blade hydros, not sure on the 5 blades.

How does your boat perform now? Top end, getting on plane, etc? Seems like from what you listed the previous owner did work on the set-up.

I have the same boat. Bblades recommended labbed 34P Bravo 1s. I'm still running the 32P Bravos. Depends on what you are looking for. 5 blades have better mid range and handling. I would remove the spacers like you said.

When I had bravos on mine I ran the p5x. Really liked how well it got on plane and the mid range. My propshaft height was 4 inces below the bottom.

they were 29 pitch ran 88mph at 5600 rpm. Not sure how fast it would of run with B1's. Only ran the p5X's.

Ran 86.1 on the limiter with labbed 30 pitch bravo 1 props and 1" spacer 3" below the bottom. Bought p5x props ran 90.3 with 30 pitch props and 1" spacer. Going to remove the spacer and see how it does mind you this is all in 90 plus degree weather. Also sending the ecu's to precision marine for the reprogram and raised rev limiter because both props hit the limiter. Trying to document and do each step to see what works.

BTW 13% slip with the P5x and 18% with the bravo 1 props.
