what is the real reality? what prop pitch they usually turn? what max rpm? what is top speed?

going to see one tomorrow without sea trial but want to know difference with a 42

BIG boat...I can't imagine it is blistering fast....prob high 70's/low 80's

just a guess though.

Owner of our marina has trip 750's ish...with bmax drives. I was told it touches 105-110mph. My post probably didn't help but hey they are numbers to go off...

Probably not fast enough to pass a gas dock.

Im gonna say 135 gallon fuel capacity low to mid 70s with bravos . Will have dock swagger with 3 hp500's idling with rumpity rump cams

Seems like "dock bragging" with those numbers.......it is 2250 HP but that is a big, heavy non step hull with bmax's

Another angle is to ask the WOT RPM. Then figure top speed based on 10-12 % slip. There is an easy to use speed calculator on the BAM website.

I know of one w stock 575s that was pushing 90.

Using BAM's speed calculator and these base figures, the 500 EFI boat would do 85 mph and the 575 equipped boat would do 91 mph.
