Unhappy Need Help.....anyone?

Need to find someone that's willing to launch our boat in Lake Travis this weekend for the run. Our burb can't handle it. See below quote. Just need to hook our boat & trailer on to launch & then to pull out.

Anyone with an F250/350 out there willing to lend a hand?????

Alright, got the babysitters lined up, but we still have
ONE BIG PROBLEM!!!!! See above quote!

We can tow our boat there, but we can't launch or pull it out!!!!!

Wondering if anyone would help us out here. Just need someone to drop it in & pull it back out w/ their own 250/350?

It seems our Z71 4x4 Suburban can't handle the boat w/ gas. Right now we've got b/w 1/2 -3/4 tank. If it won't pull it out of Conroe, I KNOW it won't do in Austin. Towing is Austin is rough on the tranny w/ out gas. Plus, that drop is too steep. But now we're seriously over loaded.

If someone could help, we can go.

Anyone????

OK, you low life Texan's.

Step up to the plate to help our fellow Baja Lady.

I would be glad to but it is a long drive!

Dock-thanks for your comment.

Chris, thanks for the offer. Sorry you can't go. There's one in Clear Lake in October, maybe you'll be up for that one

My Burb is the Z71 4x4, class 3 hitch. We usually tow w/ a full tank fuel in the Z and 0 gas in the boat. Except for this one time!!!!! 1/2 tank in the Z and 3/4 in the boat.
We are already above capacity for towing, by about 4,000 lbs. Still need the tranny cooler, but can wait on that till next season. The boat still has the gas in it, so it'll be a challenge in the hills. I'm hoping for a safe trip. but......launching & loading-forget it. We came waaaaay
too close for comfort. We need to burn that gas in the boat ;-), without the risk of losing everything else along with it.

I think we've found someone to launch the boat for us. The ramp people have a tractor? We'll see when we get there!!

OutlawBayB,

Good luck, I'm sure you can find someone at the poker run to help out. There are always a lot of friendly and helpful people.

Please don't take offense to my statement on Texans. Just a joke. I am from Hot Springs, Arkansas and have famaily and many friends in Texas from Grapevine to Spring.

Have a great weekend.

Mark

Did you find anyone yet??

I don't mind trying to help but I don't really know what time we will be at the ramp or what time we will be loading.

I have a 4 x 4 Excursion. Will be pulling a 29 custom painted.

its not to good for the truck but on heavy loads i put it in 4 wheel low range, then it will do the job! that low range just about doubles the pulling power,
