Is the race returning this year to Tawas Bay? If so, when?

Wow, that sucks. I thought the inaugural race was a big success. I was looking forward to going this year.

That's too bad. I thought it was a fantastic venue and enjoyed every minute I was up there. I planned on getting a slip in the DNR marina the next year and stay the weekend for the races.....but they never returned. There were a ton of people there for the street show and the racers were fantastic to mingle with.

Man that street party was a lot of fun. I dont think i have ever seen such an enthusiastic and appreciative crowd. I was right in an intersection with a Batboat and must have had two hundred kids in and out of the boat for pics. I just propped a door open and myself and crew grabbed a table at a near by restaurant and let 'em have at it. All night there were people coming up and saying how excited they were about the race being there.
