Anyone know anything about this? It is throwing the snake oil meter into the red for me but figured I'd ask.

What it did do is get me to thinking, is there anyone that does make a good programmer for my boat? Or someone that I can can send me a custom tune? The motors are stock but i figure the tuning is on the conservative side from the factory.

Serious note, there is a 350 MPI thread going on about flame arrestors. Look for it. If you have the same set up with crazy restrictive flame arrestors, this will work out good for you.
