I will be interested to hear how it is to shift from reverse back up to neutral. From the pic it appears the throttle might interfere with a clear grab of the shift handle.

Sorry for the delay.
Here are a few pics.
It's not 100% finished just yet but very close.

Time to drill and cut a little fiberglass.

Dry fitment, wiring it all up soon.
(Warning sticker removed.... Should have done that years ago)

Not sure when I will be wet testing as this weekend is a busy one for us AND the weather isn't cooperating very much.
High of 69 degrees this weekend... with showers YUCK!!!

I don't think there is or will be any issue or problem going from rev to neutral or forward.
Sure, it'll take a little time getting used to it but to go into and out of gear should be much easier with this system compared to
the single Merc unit that was removed.
Certainly a few hundred $$$ more than a stock replacement but all in all I think it was a no-brainer.

Outdrive is coming off to replace the shift cable and service it.
Should be good to go by the time warmer weather finally shows back up.

It does and it comes with cables. 13' throttle cable and a 14' shifter cable. (Not gen II style though).

Update on new dual stuck control.
I've had some seat time with it and have easily leaned the new controls.
Simply, the VERY best!!!
Couldn't be happier with this set up.
Well worth every penny.
