Just received this email from Allen today. Sad news, had spoken with Chris, numerous times.

Daytona Sensors is sorry to announce the tragic and untimely death of Chris Schroeder. Chris was one of the founders of Daytona Sensors and chief engineer and product designer.
Allen Alvarez, co-owner and operating manager, states that Chris will be greatly missed. Allen also wants you to know that due to Chris's attention to details, and having policies and procedures in place, the company will continue with normal operations.

That is sad news. I met Allen last year and I can not say enough about how he and the company wants to be very helpful to any of your questions and buying experiences. I did not meet Chris. Sorry for the loss and hope they remain strong. .
