Hi. bought a 222 stinger yesterday. is my first real boat and is a project with no engine . so now I am looking for some different engine setup to choose .
I'm satisfied with around 300 hp . but obviously it would be fun with more .

454 with Bravo One ?
350 with Alpha One ?

or what do you think and what do you have for experiences good and bad.

Your not satisfied with 300 hp...you think you are, but really your not. Start with a 454 mag and bravo setup. solid performance for your size boat with room to grow,

Now I have bought a engine . it became a 454 with some candy . has also decided to buy a Bravo sterndrive.

I had a 222 that I sold to a guy Magnus over seas. Real cool dude. As soon as he received it, pulled motor bravo swapped it and I believe that was all. Glad you are going bravo much better all around for the boat. Good luck
