Short answer. Yes. Long answer below.

The only way to "accurately" assess poker run size is through registration. The organizers of the Tickfaw Poker Run, for example, reported a whopping 240 registrations. But a number of participants believed there were a lot more boats in the run. There always are folks who don't register who (much to the chagrin of most organizers) show up and "run with the run" for a leg or even the entire event, but you really can't count them in any accurate way. Registration is about the only method that works.

So ... Tickfaw reported the 301 last year and 264 so far this year with registration still open, which makes it the largest event of its kind (poker run) in the country.

Thanks for the answers.

I need to get out and play a bit more in my life. This would be an easy poker run for me to attend, have a brother that lives in the area and have been on the lake many times years ago, actually 20 years ago. At that timeframe there was a lot of sportboats running around Lanier Wonder if it still the same. .
