where can i get some extension boxes, off the transom to mount steering rams.??

or is this not the way to do it???

ram is latham is 27 inch long

imco pin for ram is 20 inch off transom..

i am gettinga experienced person to help me setup,,,he said i may need extensions....

so....looking for some help..

Mayfair used to make a stainless extension mount to use with standoff boxes. Call Bing and ask If he still makes or call Bob at Latham he will make anything you need.

I have a pair of custom made Stainless Steel wing plate saddles specially designed for the Merc Bravo One outdrives made by Stellings extension boxes so that the rams will extend all the way to the transom....I had used these on my boat with extension boxes for several years. I have since sold that boat, but I still have the wind plates available. They're heavy duty and make nice seats if you want to sit on top of your drives while swimming....and they look cool too!

Here is a pic of my Marine Machine extensions. Marine Machine is outta biz though. Maybe somebody has a used set.

Bing will still make them, but he is very proud of his work. $$$$$

i mounted rams on insides of drives...
