Default Shift cable Questions ?

Good morning Folks .... I have a 1993 29 Powerquest .. The port side drive some times does not shift into forward well. When I am counter rotating the boat to back in to the slip it goes great into reverse and then the shiftier goes forward but will not engage the drive. and you move it back and forth and it will finally catch.

My question is is there an adjustment or is a cable replacement the only fix.?

Hope everyone had a safe and good weekend.

Thanks,

Steve

The cable can be adjusted either at the shifter or at the shift bracket.
