Just curious if anyone has any history on this boat. Previous owners, where it was used, who did the refit? Obviously someone swapped in the 496HOs and wrapped it.
I believe it's a 34 Excel but all the cuddy pictures I see of 34 excels show wrap around seating instead of benches. I suppose they could have redone the interior as well?
Any information on the boat would be appreciated. I'm semi-interested in taking a look at it but always interested in knowledge someone has on it before I contact them.

The boat was wrapped after the previous owner did a trade in. It does have 496's and the previous owner added tube headers and the aluminum swim platform. Needs some TLC on the interior and dash (gauges) unless UJ's refurbished it.
Make him a low-ball offer, it's been setting there or at Grand Lake for a couple of seasons, so they might entertain a sub-twenty offer. Also have it surveyed, especially the transom for rot.

Thanks for that info. That's definitely helpful. I knew it had been sitting since at least last year which scares me a bit. It definitely doesn't look like the cleanest boat in the world but I've not seen the interior.

Your boat is what I really want, Nate! Have been looking hard at them but it's a few years off unless we take a out a loan which I'd like to avoid.

That's kind of what I'm thinking as well. I like that it has newer power and that it has Bravos instead of TRS drives. I'm always a little scared by a boat with a wrap since you don't know what it's hiding.

I can understand that on the wrap. I too would be a bit worried about that but it wouldn't kill the deal just yet.
I too like the new power and the bravo's. If it have a dry/strong transom and no loose wiring laying around then it definitely sounds nice. I like the lines on the boat for sure.
Thanks for the compliment as well, the Sonic is a GREAT boat for sure and if you get the chance to get into one you certainly will not be disappointed.

With a wrap, if it is hiding sins, you will more than likely know if you take a good look down the hull sides. Old lettering, dings, deep scratches, etc., pretty much all "print through".
Sub 20k, you could part it out and make money.
