The local Marine Patrol (due to some complaining A-holes) are cracking down again on performance boats using noise violations as the excuse. With stock 525's and HPI mufflers, I am over the 89 decibel limit. I think that I am around 95 decibels or so.Is there a bolt on muffler/product that I can add to my current HPI mufflers that will help quiet my boat? Turn downs are out of the question(hate the way they look). Thanks!!

I had to be under 90db with my single 525. HPi's with the flapper just got me there if the test was done correctly, but I couldn't count on that. I put in a set of GGB slip in's with the HPi holding it in.

So, most likely, with 2 525's, I am over. How did it sound with the GGB slip ins?
