It's getting a cover but I want to leave alot of it exposed. Right now I can't open the engine compartment without undoing the back hinges and sliding the cover forward as I tap the ram. We altered the original cover to make due for testing.

I've called it a Wyatt tunnel on here before but it is officially a 24 Lightening built by Wyatts Performance Boats. Mine was the first one Wyatt built and was unnamed. These boats are built from the 23 Daytona molds. They have changed hands a few times since Eliminator sold them. I'll try to post a pic if I can make one of the hull fit.

Gonna run it tomorrow but the fuel pressure guage is not here yet and I don't have a new prop to try yet. I was supposed to pick the boat up from my engine guy Friday and run to the lake and try 30 and 32 pitch props. We had a bad MAP sensor and it wouldn't idle so no test friday. Got a new MAP sensor this morning but can't use the props until I drive 90 miles to another lake. Tomorrow I am going to my local lake and am going to take it real easy. I think once I get it propped right it will run OK Maybe I could outrun an unwary Bayliner or 2
