Default Gill exhaust

I have a couple of Bulldogs that I am going to install new heads and cams and was wondering how much horse power Gill exhaust can support. I am looking to go to 675 to 700 hp. Thanks in advance for any response and help.

What head and cam package are you putting together to make that kind of power?

What was the highest output engine that used the Gills? The orginal 525SC or 600SC?

Pro 1 heads, full roller cam by someone smarter than me, 1050 carb and raise the compression to 10.5 to 1.

If you're going to buy new exhaust manifolds, then Stainless Marine is supposed to have the better performance over the GIL system due to a better design for exhaust scavenging. I would take a closer look at the Stainless Marine system.

So will they handle 700 hp or should I just figure on new exhaust? There will be no more upgrades after these mods.
