Default Engine stalls after returning to idle

Stock Weber carbed 7.4L.
This has become more of a problem recently. After running the boat on plane at any rpm for a extended time when we slow and return to idle rpm while still in forward gear the engine will typically stall and is difficult to restart. This does not happen when the boat is first started or when we're idling in forward gear, only after a run. Water temp, 150-155, oil temp 200-220. Water pressure 15-20. Other engine runs fine.

Richen up the air/ fuel mixture screws. It goes lean when it goes back to the idle circuit.

probable needs to deep clean & rebuild the carb then adjust correctly - fully warmed up and in the water and depending if he has T Bolt V ignition set up as to how it needs to be adjusted.
