A good read but
Nice to see Volvo moving forward with the direct injection stuff but man new sterndrive sales just keep on tumbling downward year after year. The new Volvo 5.3 - 350 hp and the new 4.3 / 280 hp, I bet flies as I have already test driven their (Volvo) - 4.3 - V-6 - 240 hp direct injection engine.
That engine will out perform the standard V-8 350 carb app 250 / 260 hp by far, The Volvo 240 hp direct injection felt more like a 350 MPI MAG - 300 hp. .
