No they don't. But they insure most everything else that sits on the spectator fleet watching the races. The reality is that High performance boats require a very special skill set of knowledge (and appetite for risk ) about Hulls, power and speed ...even then the risks are still huge. " Yes ..it's a Cigarette Gladiator with twin 750's " How fast is it? "Uh... 65MPH" ..... You get the picture. This is a Warren Buffet owned company we are talking about. Think of how many yearly premiums one single high performance accident would cost...How many total boats in the niche? You would probably agree that there is a segment of HP owners that don't have the experience or training to run their boats at the speeds they are capable of and often operate at....and thats why the firms that do insure them want to know how many years exp with HP boats now.
Miss Geico works hard to represent the sport and hobby of performance boating as best as we can. The attention the boat gets at shows races and events sells a lot of insurance and in turn puts some stability into our sport and gives you guys something cool to watch. Look at the positive and call Rick Felson at Hawk Marine Insurance.

But by the same argument some of the CC's they insure are faster than old straight bottom performance boats and are a higher theft risk too! Heck most bass boats are faster than most of the older performance boats!
