Default P22 Drive Height

Hi all, I've got an 87 Pachanga 22 with a built 502, Bravo 1 1.50 ratio, spinning a 25p Revolution 4. The boat runs great, but it blows out every 3 blade prop I've tried bad, and I get little trim / high slip on multiple 4 blade props before they blow out as well. I've run several pitches of Bravo 1 plus the Rev 4. I'm thinking my drive height may be high. I measured roughly 6 3/4" from the bottom of the vee to the center of the prop shaft. Do I need a spacer? What height do these boats run best at?
