I'm restoring a 1976 Chrysler 105 and it has spider cracks in the sides. Have removed top and everything inside, stringers, deck, transom and keel. Sides are pretty flimsy right now. Have US Composites white gelcoat unwaxed, a pint of styrene, wax additive and a 100 dump gun and 3/16 tip.
60 gal compressor rated at 11.5 SCFM at 90 psi with a 1/4 and 3/8 outputs. Plan to add a dryer on the 3/8 line then run same hose and step down to 1/4 adapter to attach to sprayer. Plan to flip the hull over to spray.
Heard about stuff called Patch booster to use instead of styrene because styrene yellows the gel. Don't know but could sure use some advise of who to do this before I start and mess something up.

Tips, tricks on thinning and how much MEKP to use, anything else

yea you want to get rid of the cracks first..duratec ve primer will bury them..then block the dides and hose it doen with your gel and duratec clear 50/50 mix instead of wax..it thins the gel and adds shine..its like spraying centari if you ever sprayed it,,,BTW is this a out board boat?
