Default Who knows about these wheels? What is a good replacement?

These are the wheels on my trailer 16.5 x 8.25, 8 lug 6.5" bolt pattern with Kelly Springfield 9.50-16.5LT. Are these made by American Racing? I have one spare but would like to get another. All the tires are going to need replacing (7 tires) and that would be a good time to replace them with a 16" rim. What OEM wheel can I replace these with.

That's a very common wheel. ARE no longer makes them, but Pacer does. They are commonly called Outlaw II wheels.
You can order them from damn near anyone wheel/tire shop. Jeg's still lists them as ARE wheels, but I bet if you order them they are branded as Pacer.

And yes, I definitely agree with replacing them with 16" wheels/tires. You can always find a 16" tire that's round, black, and holds air in an emergency. There are actually a LOT of nice trailer wheel choices that have popped up in the last 2-3 years. There have been several threads on such here on OSO and the like. (It's damn hard to find a 16.5" tire nowadays, and likely never in an emergency.)

Those wheels are 8x6.5" pattern. Go ahead and pull them off now before winter, as you would likely be able to sell them on Craigslist to someone for use as winter/snow swaps.
2007 Classic and older GMs, pretty much all 8-lug Dodges, and 1997 and older Fords all use the exact same wheel bolt pattern.

My trailer had those on it. I got upgraded to a 16" MB Motoring 72 wheels. I like them they look good on my white trailer. I did keep the other ones around as spares.

Screw those 16.5's I had them on a Van a few years ago. No one ever had them in stock and they always cost 50%+ more then the 15 or 16's. More hassle then they were worth.

So my question is are these a hub centric wheel like dodge and GM or are they a lug centric whhel like a Ford. Reason is I would need to replace all 6 wheels and 2 spares. So for a total of 8 wheels and tires. it is quite a chunk of change for all new everything

I've never seen a trailer wheel that was hub centric.
Always LUG centric. Remember, most trailer wheel center caps come in from the back. Because of this, hub centric would never be the right approach.

Go to any local truck/4x4 enchancement place, especially one that is a Keystone Automotive dealer. They can likely have a wheel in for you next day that you can test fit.
I've done this several times when trying/testing new fitments on vehicles over the years. If it's never mounted on a tire, it's easy to return it.
