As most of you know (3rd Sunday in Oct ) Oct 18 is the date .


IMPORTANT !!!
Because of the actions of some people there will be a heavy Police/DEEP/Coast Guard presence all along the river this year There were MANY complaints last year about No Wake Zone violations .

Also at the beach we need to keep 1/2 the river clear for general navigation . There will be officers there to advise you . Authorities will be monitoring this thread so if you have any questions just ask .


Launch where you want (Pete be posting a list of sites from Old Saybrook north to Hartford) and we will meet at a beach (just north of the Rocky Hill Ferry) at noon for pizza . We'll head north to Hartford around 2 pm and then back to wherever you launched from .

Good question. Old Saybrook ramp like the old days?

I put the boat in by crane at Island Cove Marina, which is right near the ramp, so that works.

We are in for year three! Looks like the crew bailed so I have applications out for new group members to ride in the cold. Any other Sonics joining in? Last year there were 4.
