Default Suggestions for a good poker run boat

I'm getting ready to retire and am looking at traveling and doing some poker runs . Now I'm looking for a new boat to use , my current boat is a 382 Formula non step hull with twin Teague 700hp motors. It will run 80mph with 5 people and that's just not fast enough so the boats that I have in mind are either a 38 or 42 TS Cigarette or a 36 Eliminator Daytona and I'd like to stay under $150,000 .. I like the Eliminator because I can go fast without big power but I'm unsure of the ride quality in big water and as for the Cig I'm unsure how much power it takes to run faster than 90mph . I like the other big cats also but don't want to have to worry about permits when hauling it. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated and thanks

How about a 36 Spectre cat? Seat 6 with comfort and room to move around and can run upfront at the same time.
