I'm looking to do an overnight at a campground on Seneca Lake Saturday night. Normally I'd choose Sampson, but they're closed to the public this weekend for a dog show. I'll be bringing the boat so I need a "trailer" or RV spot.
Any suggestions?
Watkins Glen KOA - require two nights, Sunset on Seneca is what I'm leaning towards, right next to Lodi park for the boat launch.
I'm not opposed to Cayuga either if there's a better site - but I'm unfamiliar with the lake, or a decent marina's transient slip. My preference is a camp site so we can have a camp fire to cook dinner.

Cayuga lake state park. They have a launch that will be fine for your 27 fountain. The state park has TV hookups and campsites. You will be near 3 restraints on the water, and sandy cove by hibiscus harbor will be busy on the weekends with boats... Big raft up

Cigrocket,
Thanks. For what ever reason that campground didn't show up on my search of the area. I think we'll be booking a site there for Saturday night.
Of the three waterfront restaurants, any that are more family friendly than the others? We'll be doing lunch Saturday and perhaps Sunday as well.

All are family friendly... hibiscus harbor(wheelhouse). Wolffy's. And a longer ride about 15-18 miles on the water from Cayuga state park is o'malleys.
Also right next to the state park is the deer head. They have a dock, it is weedy, and not directly on the water.
