Just wanted to take a moment to share a positive experience. There are a lot of posts on this site of guys being taken, done wrong, bad experiences, etc. But my dealings with Ron Potter were nothing but pure pleasure. He made me feel like family from day one. Upon arriving at Ron's shop I knew that I had chosen the right builder. His shop is as clean as an Operating Room! The organization of both his shop and office is amazing. He took the time to email me probably 50+ pictures along the way of the build. His time to completion was short. The engine was finished very nicely and runs great. Can't say enough about the whole experience!

Nothing special. I told Ron I wanted reliability to be #1 on the list. He built me a mild 540. I had bought the engine from a guy on here. It was suppose to be 625hp with nothing but the best parts. It puked on me not long after I got it. Turns out it had a bunch of off the shelf parts and a small HP500 carb. Ron wanted to change the intake and go to a dominator carb setup, but my budget wouldnt allow for this, we ended up running a BLP 4150 and still made over 600hp.
