Spinning IN, you lose reverse thrust. I noticed it immediatly when I switched mine to IN and tried backing off trailer.

Try lifting your drives a lil above neutral, it should get the thrust below the boat instead of hitting transom.

Make sure you trim the drives up or most of the water will hit the transom. It happened to me when the drives where trimmed down,

Where are you from? I know someone with that name in my area, but imagine its coincidence.

A little bump of the throttle and wheel input goes a long way. I have a lot of hours docking a 38 donzi, gets easier.
If you want the transom to go to starboard turn right, port reverse, stbd forward and use a little port throttle. Trimming drives slightly above neutral helps also.

Thanks , when you say above neutral, drives up 1/4 ish? I can't wait to try. We only spent one weekend and had to pull it fof the season. I felt like a jerk trying to dock it.

What size/model Donzi is it? Is it a staggered setup or side by side?

Spot on, you've nailed it.
Lots of trim, especially if it's a notched transom. The wash from the reverse prop just hits the notch and pushes the boat forward. Have a look when it's out of the water and imagine a line from the prop shaft showing where the thrust is aimed. Trim your engine up until that line goes under the transom or notch.

A little steering in the direction of the turn also helps but remember to straighten her up after!
