That would be well worth saving, maybe move it to NYC and turn it into a hotel, edit maybe the Miami Marine Stadium needs it more.

They probably spent more trying to save it and going no where then it cost to build it in the first place.

Seriously it is a ship worth keeping. 900 feet long 44mph and no stinking steps.

>33 kts is the stated speed for a Nimitz class carrier but the true top speed is classified. The Enterprise was even faster than the Nimitz class carriers. I haven't seen the info on the new Ford class yet. The Forrestal class were built in the 50's and were rated at 34 kts. I don't know about the other carriers because I was never on them but I know the Nimitz class are much faster than their stated speed.
