this is my first post.
I need some help. I have recently converted my 1987 Chris Craft Stinger 314 twin 225hp mercury outboard to a triple 225hp Mercury setup. I’ve got just about everything converted and modified except for my shifting/throttle cables. I have mercury cables and I have bought a triple shifter that has the three throttle levers and the three shifter levers. The problem I have is the way the cables attach to the shifter. It is not compatible. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is there an adapter kit or an attachment, or even a modification out there that anyone might be aware of? Any help would be grateful!

You need to give us more info. What kind of shifters? What kind of cables?

They are Mercury cables I believe. and the throttle shifter i believe is a Kiekhaefer.

u can buy the cable adaptors for the controls from any merc dealer
or buy them on line from marinengine.com
that is where I got my zero effort/kiekhaefer parts when I did my trip o/b with zero effort controls
and if u want 3 motor trim switch for levers I got mine there also
cables are just a normal 33c style ,,,,,name brand don't matter
