now lets calculate Nor-Tech's gross revenue on the center console product line alone
lets put 4 Verados on each CC, and lets say they sold 56 Verados (article says 50 or 60 Verados). That means 14 CC boats were built and sold.
let's also say each boat costs 500,000, that equates to:
$500,000 x 14 = $7,000,000 in gross sales just on their CC product line for 2015?
WOW !
Impressive! Keep Goin' !

Most NT CC's are triples and don't cost 500K so I suspect they made a few more boats than your math suggests but at a lower MSRP as well. Also consider they build plenty of 300/350 boats also. The two newest CC's from them in the classifieds right now are both 350 boats (one triple, one twin).

this is just for amusement, and I def do not know their costs, but have been around boat costs enough to be moderately accurate...but in the end it's still a guessing game
if we were to go all-out triples:
tripple engine CC would equate to 18 boats ( 54 Verados / 3 tipple-engine = 18 boats)
$400,000 x 18 = $7.2 MM for model year 2015
another fun calculation with twins would result in 28 boats ( 56 Verados / 2 engine install = 28 boats )
$275,000 x 28 = $7.7MM for model year 2015

A few things to consider......

I think the easiest math goes something like this, working with 60 Verado 400s hung by Nor-Tech (I use the high number because it's round and will work): Most likely went out as triples on 3900 CCs, as you noted, Nor-Tech's best-selling center console. Assuming there were no quad or twin 400 Verado installations, that would be 20 boats. But I don't think you can assume that because I know of several that have had quads. So ... lets say, just for fun, 15 with triples and five with quads.
I honestly don't know the list price of 3900 with of those configurations, but you can do the math from there if you do. But, as you noted, those are only the 400-powered boats. They've also done quite a few with 350s. Regardless of how it all pencils out, it's good news for Nor-Tech ... and Mercury Racing.
Just for fun, check out the list of "Related stories" at the bottom the commentary article leading this thread. That's just a handful of the stories—54 in all if you type "Verado 400R" into the search function on the site—involving that engine and/or various installations. Definitely a home run for all.
