I am thinking about removing the wire harness plug and all the relays, etc from the engine and remounting on transom or somewhere else. Has anyone else cleaned up their wiring? Any pics, what did you do to harness?

Whatever you do, have all your wire, fasteners, crimp terminals, heat shrink, wire looms etc. in hand before you start. It's nice to have inventory to draw from, because once you get started, it's easier to keep up the momentum rather than stop and re-start for lack of a ring terminal, etc.

I did mine, started with a stainless bracket made by Hardin, I believe Bill at Diamond Performance sells these.
If you use a "Y" pipe on your exhaust you will need to modify the mounting. Take your time test fit everything and you will be able to get everything mounted on/under the bracket, it comes out very clean.

My old boat. Made the bracket from 1.5 by 1.5 aluminum angle.

Here are a few pics of electronics plates that we make. We do them in both aluminum and carbon fiber. We can either paint or powder coat the aluminum. We have numerous different styles, depending on exactly what you need to mount....ECM, MSD box, coil, etc.

Walmart does a wireless relay that works with anything for 29.95 .

Trust me just Cut it clean off at the big Giant plug and Free yourself.

eddie, where do they bolt? back of head or bellhousing? i only need to mount the plug, circuit breaker and starter slave solenoid - right now that stuff is above fuel filter - and then i only need to lengthen wires for sensors, choke, and alt
