Default Have a question ?

If u sell something for a good price in the swap section , do u think it is ok for the buyer to hold onto it for a while and then resell it for a nice profit in the swap section . There was no improvements done to the parts .. I believe that it should be relisted at what they payed for it . I don't have a problem if sold elsewhere , for a profit , but here that is just wrong.....

If it sold for your asking price you got what you wanted for it. What business is it of yours after that point

This is a boating community and we try and do the right thing. I don't have a problem as long as u sell it elsewhere.

Market dictates price....

If I buy a part, end up not needing it or using it why not resell it? You not going to get rich or make a living used parts on oso and reselling them on oso

Say I buy a used prop, for 150 and my boat doesnt like it, So no Im in to the prop sat 150 plus 25 shipping so 175. I throw it up for 200, somebody buys it because its still a decent prop at a decent price. I just made 25 bucks, does that make me an evil sadistic bastard???

Don't have a problem with that ,ur talking pennies... but I told other people no because some else was first and it was relisted for more than double of what I sold it for ... I think if you bought it here u should state what u have into it when u realist it here... If not than we are no better than eBay and I might as well sell it there then take care of our
own.... And I don't care about the money it's the principle............

if i sell a part and get my asking price i am happy and if the buyer throws it in the ocean or sells it at twice what he paid for it i am still happy because i got what i wanted for it.if you trade your car in at the car lot and they give you 10 grand for it and they resell it the next day for 12 grand do you have a complaint?i say no because after they took posession it is theirs to do whatever they want to do with it,jmo.

I agree. I'd pass the good price back out into the community....

I guess u guys are missing the point! I could care less if the item was sold elsewhere for a huge profit. I just don't like the fact I had to tell other people on this site no , so someone could buy it and then relisted it to make a profit from another person on this site ... Like I said before I Don't care about the money. It's the principle ...
